![]() Here is a recent photo of me in my office. I'm currently with Focus Air Cargo. Flying out of Bangkok on a Thai Airways cargo contract. Things never change, just change the paint on the aircraft to a different shade of blue. ![]() The Peninsula Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand
Photo courtesy Ron Preede When I saw the Saudia B-747 pic, I remember the story about the white cross in the Saudia name. You do not have to look very hard, but between the S and A in saudia there is a white cross. The Saudia's were not happy when some one pointed it out to them. The new Saudia name had the letters changed.Best from Mitch

COLLECTION CAPTAIN MITCH ALLEN APPLE UNCHANA TAMASAK After the USAF, I started with UACI in 1979 as S/O and upgraded to Captain on the DC-8 in '85. After that I have been a freight dog with other airlines. I helped Andy Barnes, Jim Tweddale, and Ron Smith start up Air Train, which became Emery Worldwide Airlines, and spent 15 years there, all I did was fly the line. I flew 747īs for Polar Air Cargo after Emery closed. Currently I'm with Focus Air in the left seat on the B-747, flying out of Bangkok. My wife flew with Captain Ted Secola on the B-747 with UACI.
