SY WEINER

I am very sad to inform you that my husband 
and best friend Sy, passed away last Thursday, 
May 8th after a long battle with heart and 
kidney disease.  He would have been 87 years 
old this coming May 13th.  He is survived by 
his son, Robert; his sister, Millie; three 
step-children - Shawn, Tanya and Gregg; 
6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  
 
Sy was my rock and I was his for 30 wonderful 
years.  His departure from this world has left 
a very empty place in my heart, but I know 
that he no longer suffers and will be my 
guardian angel.  Our time together was the 
best part of my life.
 
He requested that there be no funeral or 
memorial.  By his wishes, he was cremated 
and will be inturned at Arlington National 
Cemetery in the coming months.  And in lieu 
of flowers Sy asked that donations be made 
to either the American Heart Association 
or the Kidney Association.

I have been receiving many loving messages 
and mail from many of Sy's dear friends 
expressing their gratitude and offering 
fond memories of their times with him.  
These have been of great comfort to me.  
Sy's honorable career with the Air Force 
and later as a professional pilot with ONA 
were some of his fondest memories.
