for a couple of years.

Good afternoon from Hancock Drive.
I haven't heard from some of you 
for awhile so I thought I maybe 
should write a note or two to let 
you know how things are here in the 
big city of Americus.

AUGUST
Well, today starts another month
and it was hot as usual, stifling.
I went to church and then attended 
the social hour afterwards.
Came home, got dressed to go to work
at the Rylander Theatre.
We had a star by the name of David 
Osborne, a very interesting and 
talented musician. He comes to 
Americus every year when he is 
touring. Last year, he was here for 
Pres Carter's 85th birthday. He loves 
this city and county and relates to 
it as the place that really started 
his career. He has played for Reagan, 
Bush, Clinton and Carter. He is known 
as the pianist for the Presidents.
The show was a big success, mostly 
senior citizens because he plays very 
romantic songs.
 
Update on the pup! He is growing and 
is so much fun. Its been a hectic two 
weeks of getting used to getting up at 
5 in the AM to feed him, but he lets 
you know when he is in need of 
nourishment.

I truly thought at one time I need to 
let one of the kids have him but right 
now we are all attached to him.
Well, everyone except Buddy, but I am 
praying this will change. I noticed 
today Buddy was a little bit better 
with him.
