Lou Torrey was station 
manager in the late 60s early 70s.
 
I remember working with him 
checking in passengers for the old 
charter clubs UEAC, a good friend 
of his was Amos Blum. I remember 
Amos in all the youthful pix I have 
seen, thatīs how I will always 
remember him. 

My dad passed away in 1995, it 
was unbelievable the different 
personalities I met coming 
and going. 

I remember meeting VP 
Hubert Humphrey when he was leaving 
and to this day still have his tie 
clasp he gave me,used to see the 
playboy jet land and leave.

I knew all the stewardesses and 
captains. Back then everyone was 
family and they stayed at the Hacienda 
Hotel in El Segundo. 

I remember Steedman Hinckley,
Neil Berboth, flying to Europe on a 
deadhead flight.
