Johanna´s son Sean Echols is a Delta pilot, 
married to Christina who is a Delta flight 
attendant. Johanna has flown with Sean several 
times, last trip to Paris his wife Christina 
happened to work the trip to Paris. 




Sean will be eligible in about 4-5 years 
to be captain, depending on the type aircraft 
he is flying, right now he is flying the 767. 

He had made captain just before 9/11, but that 
dream evaporated quickly. Johanna will be moving 
from Missouri to Atlanta in about three years to 
be closer to family. 

Johanna has been appearing in food and recipe 
shows but has have given up her TV appearances 
as it is extremely time consuming. 

Johanna´s job is now Executive Director for the 
American Academy of Pediatrics in Missouri, she 
has the assignment to staff the American College 
of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in Missouri. 

Her third occupation is Membership Director for 
an international Society of Microcirculatory 
Scientists, they are all PhD's and MD's. 

Johanna operates out of her home and enjoys 
working very much, will work 3 more years full 
time, then she will give up the most time-
consuming occupation and do two part-time. 

Her benefits with Delta are wonderful, three 
overseas trips a year ( business elite when 
space available) and 6 domestic trips, all 
free of charge, just tax. I am a lucky mom! 

Johanna´s daughter Michelle has two girls and
Johanna is spending much time in Nashville 
and takes care of the four year old and one 
year old when mom and dad go diving, which 
is coming up in November.
