ED SCHARF, NEW YORKphoto from ONA Horizons´Souvenir Issue submitted by Jack Gold Ed passed away on Nov. 17, 2004. He was the Director of Purchasing, JFK, New York. The sad message was conveyed by Ed Scharf's wife. Cindy Moser CAPTAIN GEORGE FLAVELL, FLORIDA I knew Ed Scharf as an outgoing friendly straight shooter who had a sense of humor about everything that was non-business. The business side of Ed as purchase manager was to see that ONA got the best price available on all purchases and worked 24 hours a day for that purpose. As an ex U.S. Marine he treated ONA to the same type of loyalty that Marines have for each other and certainly fits the profile of the ONA spirit that keeps us all together yet. My condolence to his wife and family.
