Sad news relayed by Captain George Flavell

DALE JOHNSTONE
passed away on August 21, 2013.

Dale began her flying career with Seaboard
World before spending many years at ONA.
After ONA, her flying career continued
with North Central that eventually evolved
into Northwest. Dale moved to Northville,
MI (a suburb of Detroit) where she resided
during the last part of her flying career
and after retirement. Dale always spoke of
her days at ONA and maintained close
friendships with many from the ONA family.

Her remains will be buried next to her
parents in Paramus, NJ.

I met Dale when I first began working for
ONA as a Flight Ops Rep in DTW and
continued our friendship through the
years with my wife Barb Wolf (Shank)
also ex-ONA and one of her closest
friends Kathy Robinson. Both Barb
and Kathy are still flying with
Delta, based here in DTW.

Dale was hired with
ONA on March 2, 1966.

Rest In Peace.
