I was hired February 1975 and left ONA in -77 after we 
had moved to PHX. During 75 I was part of the Guam-HNL-SFO 
flights and have lots of memories! 

One time one of our captains didnīt get his luggage after 
deadheading back to Guam. So the next day while working the 
flight out, he was wearing his flowered Hawaiian shirt 
with shorts.  It was so funny! Do you know who that was? 


 
Once the whole crew (except me) got food poisoning in Bangor, 
Main and we had to postpone the flight out.  Maybe we even 
had a reserve crew take over, cannot remember. 

Itīs great seeing ONA again on the homepage! I just found
Marliese Berger on the web, googling her, this is exciting! 

Before ONA I flew for TWA out of FCO, Rome.  After ONA I was 
with EA part of the ground crew in PHX and DEN.  None of these 
great airlines exist anymore, but the memories last for ever! 

I have close contact with my friends from EA.  Have been to 
Reunions in PHX, DEN and also TWA reunions in Rome.  ONA are 
the only people I lost contact with.

I am living back in Germany and I would love if you can forward 
this to Marliese, so we can connect.  She came to visit me in 
Kew Gardens in June 1976 to see my baby. Yep, that was 30 years 
ago. In the meantime I had another baby (he just turned 19) and 
when we moved to Germany I started to work for American Express.  
They had opened a new business lounge for their Platinum Card 
Members at the Airport Center in Frankfurt.  

Great prestige job, I loved it just as all my other jobs.  
However, even here after some short years, the lounge was closed. 

Luckily I was then hired by AA for their Admirals Club at FRA A/P.
I loved ALL my different airline positions and surely loved being 
part of that exciting family.  It will allways be part of my lifes 
passion!

Over the last 20 years I have been learning and getting involved 
in health matters and prevention.

It has become my mission to let people know to get involved and 
take charge of their lifes while they are healthy.

Too many people wait until they face a life threatening disease 
or have developed a chronic health problem before they start doing 
anything health promoting. 

I have put up a homepage on this subject and quit AA some years ago.
