Our man in Havanna, Amos Blum!

A thrilling life with the airlines! Name something Amos has NOT experienced managing ONA passengers and crews smooth traffic globetrotting from Bangor, Maine to Singapore and Jeddah! ......HEY HEY ONA! After ONA Amos went to work for World Airways in EWR/LAX, then to Flying Tigers from 1982-1989. After that Amos took up his career with Fed Ex eventually moving to Memphis. Amos just retired having started in airline operations in 1966, so he had a long time in aviation. Amos has dual abodes, one in Florida and another in Memphis TN.

"You are flying on one of ONA´s
Bicentennial Aircraft designed
by one of our employees as a
symbol of our participation in
the celebration of America´s
200th anniversary.
In keeping with ONA´s role of
promoting masstravel for
recreational, cultural and
educational purposes, we have
named our bicentennial project
"visitUS".
Through 1975, 1976 and 1977 the
aircraft will visit most cities
in the US, Hawaii, the islands
of the Caribbean and many
European countries extending an
ivitation to all people to
"visitUS" during this
"Celebration America" period.
We hope this card will serve as
a memento of your flight and a
reminder of the wonders of a
free and independent USA and
its 200th Anniversary Celebration."

    The crew in question
(Amos Blum, LAX) was my crew.
I am holding the cake, behind me
    is Dara Young, we recognized
    Karen Pickelsimer as well.
They were new F/A's and I was
new as a senior. I am working
on the rest of the girls,
trying to find my old log book.
Will let you know. I do know
    Thila Gerber and Cecelia quite
    well.
